About This Society
The Catholic Youth Organization of Nigeria (CYON) chapter at Ascension gathers young parishioners for fellowship, formation, and service, giving voice and leadership experience to the next generation of the Church.
CYON members lead the parish's youth choir on designated Sundays, organize inter-parish sports competitions, and represent Ascension at the Archdiocesan Youth Congress each year.
We meet weekly for Bible study and planning, under the patronage of St. Kizito, the young Ugandan martyr celebrated for his courage in the faith.
